Sizzle lines are a great offline marketing tool that have been used by network marketers for years. Setting up a sizzle line is an easy thing to do, and it us also something that your team members can duplicate simply. What is a sizzle line? It is a recorded message that people can call, and listen to a quick message about your product, service or opportunity. It also allows prospects leave their contact information so that you can call them back. This is something that you should create yourself so that you can capture your own leads, as opposed to a generic one offered by your company that doesn’t offer your caller to leave you a message.
How to Create an High Impact Sizzle Call:
1) The call should be exciting and upbeat, or it should be very strong with posture. It should not sound like a sales pitch. The speed should be upbeat, but don't talk too fast either. Use a script, and practice until it sounds natural before you record.
2) Make sure that your prospects don't become bored, otherwise they will hang up. Your sizzle message should be brief and to the point, and be around 30 to 60 seconds long. It's okay it it is longer, but be sure to make it exciting, and packed full of benefits to your prospect, and not just telling facts and selling/pitching. You could even include a few brief recorded testimonies, which can be extremely powerful.
3) DO NOT do an entire presentation about your company, (facts about how it has made a billion dollars in sales, has the best leadership and CEO etc.) people are not interested in the facts at this point. They key is to present an answer to a need or a problem (more money, get out of debt, more time freedom etc.)
4) It should create a sense of curiosity, so that people will want to respond to it and know more about it.
5) You should answer a few of the main objections up front, and then people will feel more comfortable about leaving a message so that you can contact them.
6) Be sure to include something in your message that pre-qualifies your prospects. This will weed out the tire-kickers, and prevent you and them from wasting valuable time. You are looking for SERIOUS people ONLY.
7) Make sure that you include a very clear call to action, and state it with posture and authority. You do not want to sound unsure of yourself, despirate or needy. You also don't want to sound tired, stressed out or angry. STRENGTH & CONFIDENCE is what you want to convey. The call to action can be to either go to your website, or to leave a message.
Below is a sample sizzle message that I use for my opportunity. Do not mention your company's name or go into a bunch of information and details. Remember, your mail goal here is to build curiosity.
“Hello, my name is Donna Murray and I’m excited for you because this call can absolutely change your life. If you’re anything like me and you wondered if there’s a legitimate home-based business that could put you back in command of your life, your future, your finances, and your freedom, then listen very carefully to what I’m about to say. Many of our members are generating monthly 4 & 5 figure monthly incomes and some members are achieving 6 figures in their first year, and all with NO inventory to buy, NO selling, NO large investment AND NO risk. If this sounds too good to be true or you’re skeptical, then this insight is PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU."

There are a number of ways to get a sizzle line that are very cost effective. If you’re sizzle call is less than a minute long, you can use Google Voice for FREE. It can be set up so that it won't forward to your phone, and will take messages only. You’ll be able to record your greeting/sizzle message by phone. You will get automatic emails if you have a Google account.
